Rising around 110 metres into the sky, the Andromeda Tower conspicuously symbolised the dawning of Vienna’s new European future and it has lost none of its magnetic power to this day. Its distinctive elliptical form, with the glass façade that opens up in a number of places and the brick red lift towers, has stood the test of time, just as well as the concept of an office tower with public facilities at base level.
